The Studio
Studio A Dance Center is a space for everyone. We hope to create a new kind of environment where each child has a special place and equal opportunities. Our recreational program is as strong as our competition program. We offer as much for your littles as your bigs, and everyone receives the best dance education possible.
The Programs
COMBO CLASSES - These classes are meant for our smallest of students who are still developing the motor skills needed to grow as tiny humans and as tiny dancers. Our main focus is to aid in the process of developing their fine and gross motor skills by utilizing music, dance, games, interactive play and more! Many of our instructors are early childhood educators who understand the importance of developing these skills at an early age. Most of all, they get to have fun!
LITTLES - Our littles have graduated from combo and are now beginning to branch out into the fundamentals of ballet, tap, lyrical and jazz. During this time they will not only learn technique, but teamwork, listening skills, and performance qualities. These littles will be ready to hit the stage in no time!
RECREATIONAL - Our recreational program is geared towards our students who love dance, but are also figuring out other aspects of their lives. These dancers will receive amazing training and have every opportunity to learn choreography, practice new skills, and perform on stage. The schedule is light and all classes are absolutely optional, no extras are required to participate!
COMPETITION - Our competition teams range widely in age and skill level, making a place for everyone interested. This program fosters dedication, teamwork, confidence and creativity. Our schedule offers a balance of technique, choreography and team bonding. This program is for the aspiring professional, hard workers, and those with a love for dance.

The Atmosphere
Studio A Dance Center has expanded into TWO locations to accommodate the demand for both our competition program and recreational program. Our recreation studio is located in Bayport next to Shaolin Karate. We have ample parking and a beautiful lawn we use for class and activities when weather permits! Our competition studio is located just north of Sunrise Highway in Bohemia. This gives students from all over access to our program and allows us to bring in amazing teachers and choreographers from NYC.
We are so lucky to have the most welcoming dancers and staff around. The bonds our dancers make last a lifetime. Starting off as Infinity Dance in Bayport, to growing into Studio A, the transition has been seamless. These hard workers are so accepting of challenges and change and most importantly have jumped at the opportunity to grow.
The Concept
We believe that a correct technical foundation is necessary for any and all dancers. We ensure that movements are safe for our young dancers and that they develop an awareness of their bodies and minds in order to accept and foster the creativity we offer.
It is important to us that all ages and levels are given the same time and consideration when it comes to technique.
The Space
Our spaces are brand new with state of the art equipment, sound, and flooring. Built and designed by our owner with construction done by Kirk Norman with the help of DJT Development we have created the perfect space for every dancer who walks through our doors. Our spaces include everything we have wanted and more.
